The Homestead at Old Potato Road: Victor & Victoria's Paige, Texas Wedding
Updated: Jul 3
Tucked away between towering pine trees, in the little Texas town of Paige, you will find The Homestead on Old Potato Road. The road is literally called “old potato” and although I am uncertain of the name’s history, I am certain that this venue is quite the hidden gem!
For Victor and Victoria, it was the perfect place to host their wedding celebration.
The venue courts are spread out enough to host a large number of guest but organized in a way that even a small intimate wedding could be accommodated without feeling like there is too much unused space. The venue also has weekend accommodations which rooms for several members of a family or wedding party to sleep over before or after the wedding! Not to mention how stylish the space is in general. The back wall of the covered pavilion being the showstopping piece in that area.
Victor and Victoria exchanged their vows beneath the giant pine tree to which Victoria’s niece Karen played the most beautiful rendition or Somewhere Over the Rainbow on ukulele I’ve ever heard (link to her sound cloud at the end of this blog) while Victoria walked down the aisle. The ceremony was so very sweet. The couple’s daughter could not take her little eyes off her mom and dad as they made that beautiful promise to love each other no matter what.
The ceremony was over, and the party went hard. Victoria and Victor were congratulated and serenaded by family and friends. The newly wedded family of three dance tirelessly amongst their friend’s way past sundown, like there was never going to be a better time to celebrate!
Congratulations to Victor and Victoria and their sweet daughter! I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness no matter which way life takes them!
