Barr Mansion Wedding: Bethany & Rick

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

It's 2020 and weddings look a lot different and no one would have ever thought that deciding to carry on with marring the one they loved would all of the sudden be so controversial. May we find this as a place to acknowledge that there isn't an easy answer and support every bride in whatever difficult decision they make. This bride chose not to cancel the beginning of her love story.

It was a very hot summer day at the Barr Mansion but it was a small price to pay for cloudless skies, and a warm golden light that mirrored the demeanor of everyone who made the shortened guest list. Every room in Barr Mansion was filled with a warm smile of someone always anxious to see Bethany and Rick. And Bethany, so patient did not give way to any emotion other than harmony and adoration to her husband and the people surrounding her. It was her and Ricks wedding, but they themselves were the last people on their own minds. This was a wedding to celebrate with their family, the wedding was for the guest, all the details were for someone else. A great picture of selflessness. I cannot help but be grateful and inspired by couples like Bethany and Rick. Couples who seem to glide like wings of an eagle.

Congratulations to Bethany and Rick. And a big thank you to Barr Mansion and Sara Lange who made this wedding run incredibly smooth for the couple because that's what it's about.
